Bantam: 1992, 1993: Ages 13-14
Midget: 1990, 1991: Ages 15-16
Junior: 1987, 1988, 1989: Ages 17-18-19
Adults: 1986 or later: Ages 20+

How
much is the registration fee for tryouts?
Registration
fee is a $50.00 non-refundable payment to “FSIN”
for each sport tryout.

Are
expenses covered for the adult teams to participate in the
2006 Games?
All Adult Categorized Sports are registered the same as Youth
Athletes but are required to fundraise and participate at
their own expense. Adult competitions for team sports are
a few days prior to NAIG 2006.

Where
are the 2006 North American Indigenous Games being held?
The North
American Indigenous Games 2006 will
be hosted in Denver, Colorado from July 2-9, 2006 at the University
of Denver and Colorado Springs.

How
many people will represent Team Saskatchewan in Denver?
NAIG Council
has established for the first time a regional team cap of
500 coaches, managers, and athletes. The cap of 500 for NAIG
Team Sask 2006 will impact team sport numbers.

Can
an athlete participate in more than one sport?
You are
only allowed to participate in NAIG 2006 in one sport of your
choice. Ensure you are attending the correct designated age
category for NAIG 2006. We will be limited by the 500 Cap
for our entire team. Thus, certain age categories WILL NOT
participate in NAIG 2006.
